On Tuesday, nearly 20 percent of the school’s 1,067 students were reportedly absent.

You know you sound like one of those conservative assholes right now, right? Are you going to tell me to make some sneakers or NFTs next?

This is our home dickhead, home to three generations of my family in four separate houses, so that’s not an easy sell to move, especially when your parents are dead set on dying here. Maybe try not acting like a f’n sociopath and remember that millions of real people who have never ever voted conservative and continue to work against conservatives live in this state.

Also way to treat politics like it’s some kind of team sports event rather than remembering that this stuff affects actual people.

Edit: oh and nice job using an alias account to not only reply to yourself but also boost your updoots you nerdy ass fraud. Maybe next time don’t name your alias so similar to your primary account.

The same. A different BS reason would have been made up instead.

In the absence of the horrors of the diseases, people do not understand it’s risks.

For a large percentage of people, the fear of things they don’t understand, outweigh then knowledge of the horrors of the diseases.

It’s why I am in favor of mandated immunizations for minors (no exceptions other than serious medical conditions.).

The only qualification to be a parent is functional gonads. Their brains don’t have to be fully functional.

If autism wasn’t stigmatized, Wakefield would’ve chosen something else in his attack campaign of the MMR vaccine when coming out with his own alternative

Yeah this checks out for Florida. I wouldn’t be surprised if the vaccination rate declines over the next few years. Talk about having a burr up your ass from Covid vaccines.

Poor Canada is going to have a border problem 😅

Americans will suddenly be offended they can’t just go to Canada to live and work.

I love that episode of South Park.

          https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where_My_Country_Gone%3F

Garrison gets the entire town behind his proposal to literally “fuck the Canadians to death”, then build a wall to prevent further illegal immigration from Canada. However, it is discovered that Canada has already built an immense border wall of its own, to (according to a Canada border guard) prevent Americans from raping Canadian women and preserve Canada’s “cool shit”.

I don’t think the Darwin Awards apply here if it wasn’t the decision of the deceased (child) to do the stupid thing, but of the parent(s). I would rather consider a “murder your child / make them handicapped for life” award in the form of a trial and imprisonment for endangering your child.

It’s not stupid people. It’s innocent children. Especially if you consider the fact that vaccines are not 100% effective (so you might get it and still be susceptible to catching it) and some people have legitimate health reasons they can’t get the vaccine. It’s these kids of innocent people who could also get fucked.

The MMR vaccine is very safe and effective. Two doses of MMR vaccine are about 97% effective at preventing measles; one dose is about 93% effective. Source

Sorry but that’s a really dumb take. So you’re saying that 97% effectiveness isn’t good enough so we shouldn’t bother at all?

No, I’m saying that the people who choose not to vaccinate their children are putting those 3% at risk.

They are putting more than those 3% at risk. What about all of the kids that are too young to be vaccinated? They are the real ones at danger

Which would fall under “legitimate health reasons” why they can’t get one.
