The masculine urge to wear pretty things and act feminine.
It’s totally normal to wear women’s clothes and research breast forms and practice walking in heels… Right guys?.. Guys?
Yes, it is also totally cis to wish for a more feminine appearance and trying estrogen.
I’m so masculine I’m just transitioning for shits and giggles.
I actually wanted to try heels at one point just to see what it feels like. Sadly I am an almost 2m tall guy with size 49 feet so I can barely even find shoes made for men. Heels were never even an option.
Having worn (admittedly ill-fitting) heels at several points in my life for an hour or so here and there, I cannot understand why anyone wears them.
They’re painful as fuck even when you dont roll your ankle.
How painful it is depends a lot on the fit and heel height. I find them extremely easy to walk in until about 2-2.5" tall, then it gets exponentially harder from there. Ill-fitting heels are also awful because then your foot isn’t properly supported. Sometimes I have to say no to ones I like the look of a lot and should fit well on paper because they don’t actually. Wedges and chunky heels are also typically easier than pointed/stiletto type heels.
It’s possible to use inserts to help with fit as well, though I’ve never bothered until a pair I got recently. I love the look so much even though they’re 3.5" tall and the fit isn’t the best, I really wanna make it work so hoping inserts will save me.
It also depends how you walk naturally. I always walk on the ball of my foot, usually with my heels off the ground even without support, so heels of any height don’t really bother me: it’s the same walking motion. If you walk standard heel-toe in any but short heels, you’ll have a bad time, and I believe that’s why people struggle with them so much - I’ve never had that trouble, though I twist my ankle if I try to run heel-toe in athletic shoes. I can really only run barefoot.
Also, in case anyone needs or wants to know this: of all the high heels I’ve ever worn, which is a lot because I genuinely find them comfortable, heels made for strippers are by FAR the most comfortable and supportive, and that market also often carries larger sizes (often up to women’s size 12 which then go on clearance, so you may be able to find some killer discounts if you have larger feet!). They are heavily padded (something normal heels are absolutely not), have decent arch support somehow, and the rise is never as nose-bleed as it looks due to the rise being spread between the heel and the toe box platform (and you can get normal 3-ish inch rise stripper heels, they do exist) plus they for whatever reason tend to feel very stable when standing in them. They are a bit pricier, but imho absolutely worth the spend.
I guess some people just want their calves to look good?
Doesn’t everyone keep clothes around just in case of sudden TS?
The way urges like these work, yeah, it’s normal to start gathering cute clothes just in case you wake up cute one day. Even if wake up cute one day sounds ridiculous in your head.
The older I get the more ridiculous it sounds.
Statistics based on comments in this thread points to a 100% emergency preparedness rate.
I prefer daily emergency drills.
“sudden TS” is sending me.
“Help! I’ve transed and I can’t get up!!”
I do. I don’t think I know anyone who doesn’t…
