Summary

Vivian Jenna Wilson, Elon Musk’s daughter, accused her father of giving a “definitely Nazi salute” at two rallies in January, calling his actions “fucking cringe.”

In an interview with Teen Vogue, she criticized Musk’s involvement in the Trump administration and advocated for trans rights, emphasizing the importance of gender-affirming care for minors.

Wilson, who transitioned as a teen, described Musk as cold and absent, and revealed she no longer associates with him or his family.

She also expressed fear over anti-trans legislation under Trump’s administration.

TV: Do you ever feel scared? He’s the richest man in the world.

VW: He’s a pathetic man-child. Why would I feel scared of him? Ohhh, he has so much power. Nah, nah, nah. I don’t give a fk. Why should I be scared of this man? Because he’s rich? Oh, no, I’m trembling. Ooh, shivering in my boots here. I don’t give a fk how much money anyone has. I don’t. I really don’t. He owns Twitter. Okay. Congratulations.

Absolutely based. The pathetic man-child was probably fuming when reading those lines. :)

You should work on your reading comprehension.

All experts agree it is a Nazi salute, we don’t need the opinion of people who have no expertise on the subject, even if they’re somewhat related to Musk (considering how he wasn’t involved as a father it’s not as if her opinion of him is based on anything but his public persona).

You don’t, but her opinion is useless when all experts already agree that’s what it was.

It’s like asking actors their political opinion. Who gives a fuck what they think? They’re actors, not political analysts.

No, I’m saying she is relevant to the story. You aren’t. Yet here you are trying to erase her from it, while adding yourself to it- via the comments.

Yell all you want. She’s still going to have her say in legitimate news articles, while you’re relegated to ranting about it in forums located in the far reaches of the internet.

Do not don the coat of a fallen cause.

The curse of its failure lingers, a specter drifting through the stories of those necromancers who dare to summon it from the dust, who seek to give flesh to bones long buried beneath defeat.

Why? Why take up arms for a dream that devoured its own children? Why believe in the facade hammered upon the anvil of despair, a shape forged for a world without light?

Does the tale end with you, a shadow standing tall above the broken, serfs and servants bent beneath the weight of your hunger, their knees cracking under the burden of your thirst, never sated, never quenched?

Fear is the plague of the weak-minded, whose souls warp and twist in the hands of hate, for a visage they do not understand. And you, you wield that fear as a maul, crushing your enemies, filling the basin of your greed with the last of their blood.

In your heart, you know the road you take, the road paved in ruin, where fortune once lay scattered like fallen leaves, now burned to ash beneath the wheels of your chariot. A lonesome path, leading only to oblivion.

Yet still, a question haunts you, woven in the rhythm of hooves upon the earth, in the cold breath of the pale horse that follows close behind, its ethereal rider whispering through the silence:

“Will I be a king? A god? If I reach the end of this road, paved with the bones of those I betrayed?” “Is it destiny that guides me to the gate of my kingdom?” “Or is it the folly of man, forever blind in his pursuit of happiness at any cost?”

This question has been answered, time and time again, its echoes carved into stone, whispered in the ruins, remembered by those who bore its horror. And still, the rider comes. Still, the pale horse treads closer.

You cannot outrun him. Your chariot, laden with the weight of your vanity, drags behind. Your horses falter, worn from carrying the spoils of your conquest. And yet, it is not too late.

Shed your burden. Turn back, submit to the wrath of those you wronged, and let fall from your hands the riches you once held so dear.

Time will judge the weight of your sins, and decide the fate of those who refuse to let the dead rest.

Do not don the coat of a fallen cause. Leave it where it lies.

True, but shed also particularly able to speak on his mens rea. She’s spoken openly about how even when she was young he was bigoted and cruel. So while many of us may have witnessed a man get radicalized by the right wing as he lost his damn mind which might lead some to think it was him being edgy or something, she’s able to say that no, he in his private life as a man who was merely rich was a massive shit stain.

I saw a gif earlier that I can’t find. It has Elon’s seig heil salute that is perfectly timed to a group of Neo-Nazis executing the same salute. They were absolutely identical.

Does anyone know where to find it?

The potential side effects of ketamine include dissociative experiences that may lead to confusion or impaired motor coordination, cognitive disturbances, and, with repeated misuse, the risk of developing a substance use disorder.

Yes that’s by design it’s literally a dissociative - that does not explain this behavior, at all. Also the research isn’t there for abuse, the only large scale studies have been from illegal street use, typically much higher quantity and much riskier quality than a clinical setting. I’m done trying to defend ketamine from you guys it’s obviously the easiest scapegoat you can find but you’re doing real harm here, on top of the harm this asshole has already done

Elon and Trump’s actions are indeed more nationalist, but we should not confuse it with nazism, that had nationalism as one of its traits but was much more than that. The genocidal part is what makes them evil, not the nationalism part.

If we take seriously the notion that nationalism = nazism, then China would qualify.

Oh for fuck sakes, the nazis were nazis long before they revealed any mass murder plans. In many ways the original nazis were more circumspect than this group of shit gibbons.

Just read any reasonably serious definition of fascism, which ‘nazi’ is a synonym for in casual international English.

I don’t know why you are downvoted. You are using her preferred pronouns.

It was the parent poster who repeatedly, and most likely intentionally, used the wrong pronoun.

did they edit their comment? or is it wrong to call someone who prefers she/her by they/them? i feel like they/them is the neutral version so if you prefer either he/him or she/her then they/them also applies, no? sorry if i’m being ignorant here.

The article, the title, and the summary, all use her preferred pronouns.

I think “they” is perfectly fine if the preferred pronouns are actually undisclosed (or are the persons preferred pronouns, obviously).

But using “they” like three times, in response to a post where the proper pronouns were used? And with an oppositional tone? It lays it all pretty clear that the grandparent was intentionally saying “they” as a sophomoric attempt to express their disrespect.

My parent, who is downvoted, is quite clearly calling grandparent out on it.

I don’t see that being an issue, unless as you pointed out the tone of the rest of the paragraph. I’ve made a habit of using they and them most of the time when I write stuff even for cishet folks.

Well, I was saying that it is already obvious, so why is there a huge headline about what Elon’s estranged kid said it was? If it was actually in question and needed confirmation, a person who would say whatever is worse by default wouldn’t be the one to clear things up… I feel like my previous post expressed that but I could have spelled it out a bit more.
