It’s a basic protection against the government imprisoning anyone they don’t like without trace, trial or legal recourse. So we have to understand that the US Government is equipping itself to abduct and disappear anyone, American or otherwise, innocent or otherwise, forever and without any right or opportunity to ever contest it.
