My family has been doing that every year but I think it’s difficult to even get most people to take the fall vaccine. They were worried about vaccine fatigue with even just the one amongst the general public, so they commented at the time not to put emphasis on the need for spring boosters. Most people haven’t had a covid booster in years.

The summer surge is also because of people being inside with AC especially in hotter states like California.

Another thing to consider is that 45 years of inflation and probable economic issues will likely lower that return, possibly lower than today’s purchasing value.

Plus people need the money in the first place, meaning those who need the money the most have the least. So either way it’s a bad deal for funding retirement beyond some extra spending money for people who had money to begin with.

Many don’t even care all that much about gender roles or stereotypes, compared to the importance of the physical body. Hormones, surgery, etc. If it wasn’t about physical traits then usually someone would live as butch, drag queen, etc instead of the pain and expense of unnecessary transitioning.

Most women don’t want to be in a man’s body and having relationships, sex etc in an effeminate man’s body. Most men probably don’t want to be in a woman’s body forever full time, at work, sports etc either.

Try reading sentences in a different language. You might be able to understand it but unless you are advanced it takes that extra focus to comprehend what you are seeing.

I was thinking that I can’t imagine not immediately comprehending written words. Then I realized that I already do that in German. It takes a bit of effort. It’s really surprising that so many people live their lives like that with their native language.

I honestly don’t know how it can be possible, especially these days with everything done on phones and the internet. It does help me to understand the appeal of Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube, etc though.

Yes but back then most people only bought maybe 2-3 games the entire generation and traded with their friends. There was also a lot of local coop games.

Now people would like to play dozens of games and it’s difficult to share, often you even need to buy two copies of a game to even play with your family in the same house.

I have it disabled too and most of my recommendations are the same. I have seen those same exact videos recommended and you can’t block them on the YouTube app. Default YouTube for anyone without defined history is constantly pushing these videos.

You are experiencing gender based persecution. Think of men who can’t be a stay at home dad, work as a nurse, or can’t show emotion, etc. Women who want to do construction work or STEM. LGBT and especially trans discrimination is also that taken to an extreme because the perceived gender divergence is more drastic. For whatever reason, there are many people in society who want to enforce strict artificial gender roles on other people.
