Am I tripping
I’m not sure if you’re being deliberately obtuse?
I’m not calling out the mistranslation, obviously. I’m calling out The Simpsons -related gag above it which turns the mistranslation into a racist joke.
Let me know if you need any help understanding. Or maybe you could ask your educational institution, assuming that you went to one.
Are you offended by someone else asking to clarify bias? I wasn’t even talking to you. Go intrude elsewhere, you’re not wanted here.
I want to know this too
Hrm, are you British by chance?
I was thinking he didn’t want the crime to be pinned on a british person because he was so tired of being prosecuted? It felt like an attack on British people because it suggests they’re so lascivious that extreme measures (like tackling a knife wielder) are necessary to protect their fragile image?
pls explain
you’ve got two important ideas I want to separate; people moving towards concern for welfare of company over people, and product pricing.
Enshittification (platform decay) describes the pattern where products and services decline in quality over time. Initially, passionate developers create things that match their vision, and consumers benefit from this labor of love. Eventually they degrade their services to maximize profits for shareholders. Inside the company, it’s because the owners get rich and money is more important to them than their vision. Outside the company, customers favor big corporations because they think small companies aren’t successful companies. Many people would be surprised to learn that small businesses employ 45.9% of American workers, or about 59 million people. It’s not that the small companies “haven’t made it yet”. They’re literally the backbone of our economy.
As for product pricing, I’m with you 100%. Buy dollar store shampoo that smells good, it’s the only bottle in my shower. It’s exactly as effective as the pricey stuff.
oh, find a topic you really like to write about, for me it was pokemon, but it could be anything. like your personal blog. and turn it into a website. use cloudways for hosting, it’s very cheap. buy yourself a domain name. updating the site will be fun and easy, and teach you how to write code. as you learn more stuff, you can incorporate it. you’ll get good at it, trust

Her husband just killed himself. Please have some respect.
Agreed. Giving it to the police means it will never find its owner.
