I feel like it’s totally wrong to apply such a broad generalisation (“They don’t want the [genocide] to stop”) to such a group of people. The people of Israel are not a monolith, and I know for a fact that there are those in Israel who have been protesting their genocidal policies the whole time. It seems very plausible to me that a good number of the protesters calling for an end to the current violence will be opposed to the whole settler-colonialist project, in the same way that I wholeheartedly despise the state of the country that I was born in.

When you are in a position of authority and you have power over others, if you give in to that urge to use that power for your own benefit to the detriment of others, even once, you will do it again. It is seductive and easy. This is just human psychology. It’s how authoritarianism thrives.
By allowing a corrupt admin to remain, the admin team have demonstrated that they find that behaviour at least somewhat acceptable, and therefore there’s no reason to learn and grow, except to learn how far you can go before there’s backlash.

Not sure what you mean - I don’t think most of the people still using Firefox are going to switch to a Chromium based browser any time soon, I can’t speak for everyone of course but it feels like Firefox users tend to have an ideological objection to Google having a monopoly on web browsers.
It’s always worth trying a different browser when you have issues on websites - there are a lot of things that can be different beyond the layout and javascript engines - cookies, configuration, addons, etc. Yesterday I noticed a big difference between Chromium and Firefox in that even if you hard-refresh on a HTTP/2 connection, Chromium reuses a kept-alive connection, and firefox doesn’t — I would totally argue that Firefox’s implementation is more correct, but Chrome’s implementation will lead to a better experience for users hard-refreshing.
The moment that Firefox goes too far, it’ll immediately be forked and 75% of the user base would leave within a few months. Their user base is almost entirely privacy-conscious, technologically savvy people.

I absolutely 100% believe that the US wanted to replace Maduro with a president favourable to them. But if the claims that the election results are fraudulent hold no water, it would be trivial for Maduro to simply release the receipts. I can’t think of any reason why he wouldn’t do so other than to cover up that he lost the election.
Now there’s a whole other conversation about whether US propaganda led him to lose the election, but that’s immaterial to the outcome. As much as I believe all of these systems are flawed, by their own measure, he should publish the receipts or step down.
