I have a mechanical doorbell at my house that I adore. I’m never getting rid of it.

I watched Event Horizon when I was 10 not knowing it was an horror movie and I had recurring nightmares for weeks
I absolutely agree with you. My former flatmate didn’t like to use the dishwasher because according to her, it wouldn’t clean the dishes properly. Yet she would load the dishwasher by stacking the plates horizontally… as you would store them in a cupboard
no no no, that was just Apple being brave /s
Not a younger person, but last concert I attended, the artist was selling bandcamp codes for their albums (I got two for €5). On top of that CDs and vinyls, each would include a bandcamp code too, so I assume people without CD players or turntables can get the physical item and atikk enjoy the music digitally
I managed to pass this as a kid and a friend invited me to his house so I could pass it for him. That was my peak and my life has gone downhill ever since.
That’s exactly the point I don’t get. Every single mouse I owned, I’ve replaced it because something physically broke. My previous mouse (Logi btw) was replaced because the scroll wheel and middle click stopped working, no software or firmware update would amend that!

I actively avoid Amazon, however there’s a brand I really like that only sells through Amazon in my country, so I’ve used it a couple of times when I have no other choice.
I also have an audible account from before it was acquired by Amazon, idk if that counts, but I stopped paying for it over a decade ago
FWIW, It was working before it stopped working
My mon got into a health and fitness phase thanks to Simmons who probably added years if not decades to her healthspan. Thanks to him I got to share more moments with my mom, and I’m sure I’m it the only one who indirectly benefited from his work.
Thanks Richard
Just mispel a word, replace a vowel with a numb3r and the wordlist is useless
that’s the reason why we got Xbox 360 instead of Xbox 2

the doorbell is inside my house, the spring and pulleys too, he only bit exposed to the outside is a lever you pull to make the contraption move, it is kinda like the launcher on a pinball machine
