Social media is fine if handled well. Like there were no problems with myspace or early facebook. The problem with social media is when it becomes more based on algorithm than communication. Mass communication isn’t the problem, it’s the algorithm

I haven’t seen this one mentioned yet, Daybreak.
Teen drama series about teens trying to survive in a zomble apocaylse, it was well written but what really makes me want a season 2 is the cliffhanger that shifts the entire show on it’s head.
Throughout the series, Josh (the main character) is trying to get a girl called Sam, in the finale Sam rejects her because she notices he wasn’t really in love with her. Josh was just trying to play a hero getting a damsel in distress, it was a amazing breakdown of toxic masculinity that makes so much sense if you rewatch the series with the twist in mind. Sam then becomes the leader, the position that Josh has been working for the whole series and that’s the cliffhanger. I remeber people getting mad because those were the exact types of people Josh was. A season 2 could have gone even deeper into the toxic masculinity angle and that would have been awesome.
I actually think life would be much better this way. I think people would be much more empathetic to people’s struggles knowing how it felt in a previous life. And if space is infinite there could be infinite civilizations for people to reincarnate on and every civilization would be different so imagine people comparing what civs they’ve been in. “Oh you were on lyza, I’ve been wanting to go there.” It would just be fun to experience these things.

But in the 80s you might get reincarnated into a family that teaches you how to read while having the memories of the life you can’t leading you to be more empahetic.
This point doesnt really make sense when you consider that there are TV channels that don’t have ads like any of the BBC channels, PBS and even Disney Channel. They are channels that only promote their own other shows but for the most part don’t have ads in between the shows.
The earth would be in much better shape if my ancestors decided not to have any children
Don’t be a dick.
Number one rule I have.
I’ve been called a CIA agent because I dared to disagree with someone’s conspiracy theories and ironically they were using all the same tactics they said I was using. Most people are self projecting is what I find.
Where? First time I’m hearing of this
Most of hollywood is propaganda. It relies on getting revenue from other sources. If you’ve ever bought a star wars action figure or a marvel funko pop, you’ve fallen for the propaganda. Hollywood isn’t producing art for art’s sake. They’re producing commercials for merchandise.
Honestly this is why I think people should be forced to have their face as a profile picture on any forum. I want to know if I’m arguing with a edgy 14 yr old or a 50 yr old man and it would stop so much hate honestly.
But even the new testament says to fear god, why would a all loving god want us to fear it? The abrahamic god is not all loving at all
Which one of you is going to hack reddit then?
People are buying the tickets for the sequel slop. If no one bought them then they would have to be weird and experimental but that will only happen if enough of us said no more to these live action remakes and sequels.
And if they actually produced and marketed original movies rather than generic superhero movie #69
As a gay man I agree, to get more people seeing good content no other reason, nope.
It’s a doctor who reference. Bonus points for those that can say which episode.
So telling lies about people is a ok, but mentioning a green plumber is not. I’m fucking grateful that I’m banned from that cesshole of a website now.
