  • Jup, no harm done. Just millions of wild animals that get scared, wounded or are dying as a result. Not to forget the massive pollution of the air and the environment or the people with pets or special needs who are in most cases not really able to protect themselves from that. We humans are so shitty that this is by far not the worse we do. But “no harm done” is a sick joke.

  • If you like the DS4, you will most possibly like the Pro 2. They have a nearly identical form factor. I like the feel of the Pro 2 with it’s textured back more.

Buttons, d-pad and sticks are great, also on par with the DS4. The back buttons are nice to use, while I never triggered them accidentally. Only the Start and Select buttons are just okayish, but do the job.

  • Oh, you have done good to question this. It is a pseudoscience and the documentary you saw is not a trustworthy source.

I quickly slapped together an uncomplete list how to spot bullshit like that. Just from your description, I would say at least three boxes are checked here.

    • Overgeneralization: A single phenomenon is claimed to explain a wide range of unrelated issues.

    • One-size-fits-all solutions: A single treatment or method is said to cure multiple, diverse ailments.

    • Lack of specificity: Claims are vague and lack detailed mechanisms or explanations.

    • Appeal to tradition: Claims are based on historical practices rather than scientific evidence.

    • Extraordinary claims without extraordinary evidence: Bold assertions are made without sufficient proof.

    • Emphasis on personal testimonials: Reliance on individual stories rather than systematic research.

    • Use of jargon: Complex terminology is used to sound credible without substantive backing.

    • Avoidance of peer scrutiny: Claims are not subjected to rigorous testing or peer review.

    • Dichotomous thinking: Issues are framed in black-and-white terms, ignoring nuances and complexities.

  • Yeah, that state.

So when we are at it, are we talking about that Nazis, that established a fashist regime that aimed to controll at least the whole of Europe and set the world on fire for that goal, that wanted to enslave all the people, which it saw as lesser than themselves and that tried really hard to murder every single european Jew and every other person they hated by using industrial means?

I don’t know, the new German gobvernment, I really really don’t like them. I see quite some racism and I see retrograde politics but no Nazism.

Also in Israel I see a right-wing regime that tries to murder or expel the Palestinians. But I don’t see Nazism. The only people who call Israel a Nazi state are either not really thinking about what they say, or are just plain antisemitic motherfuckers.
