My friends and I use it as an excuse to have a get together. None of us use it to celebrate the United States or its independence.

I was laid off from a place I only worked at for a month and I could already tell I was going to hate it there. The separation was mutual, but still took me 3 months to get over it. It is frustrating to lose your income and coverage, and it is even more frustrating to have to jump through the hoops of hell known as the job market. You are not alone, and the feelings you have are perfectly normal in today’s society.
So what I’m hearing is this is a bill to distract from more important things and to delay.
And I say people who have a gaudy orange spray-on tan are not entitled to be president.
Warning - not a happy anime.
You have it backwards. As with all things beauty, it isn’t about having the courage to do it - doing it gives you courage and confidence.
Nowadays they will tell you to work on something else in the meantime.
“The grass just, it doesn’t work,” he told Fox News during a White House tour in March. “We use it for press conferences and it doesn’t work because the people fall into the wet grass.”
He’s still a massive asshole, but this is probably the strongest argument he has ever made.
Or you can, you know, make the podium elsewhere on the yard. Why specifically dig up the rose garden? (Don’t answer that, we all know why)
I’ve had this happen when using VPN. I also tried disabling ublock, but I get this behavior for 5-10 seconds before the video loads. I get no such behavior on Chrome.
This is probably another attempt at Google degrading the experience for people not using Chrome.
The right is looking for the stinkiest turd and don’t care who gets nominated as long as they stink. The left is looking for a unicorn and will not compromise for a horse that will eventually grow a horn.
God forbid the left nominates candidates that do things one step at a time but are guaranteed success. Everything needs to be done correctly now.
You could swap the names Musk and Trump and it would still be true.
It is in the name. It is a markup language, not a programming/scripting language.
Don’t you think he looks tired?
What they don’t tell you is that it is ridiculously cheap and easy for chicken farmers to replace lost chickens.
The chicken/egg shortage from the bird flu was resolved in under 2 weeks, but they used that opportunity to keep prices high.
My experience with SO is that I’ll look up a question about how to do something using X method and all the answers are like “why are you using X?” or “here’s how to do it using Y.”. You rarely find people answering the questions and instead find people trying to spread gospel about a certain tech that you aren’t using.
You value yourself at negative 10k? If they paid me 100m, I would at least think about it before declining to buy one.
They tell us we don’t own the game, only a license to play the game that they can arbitrarily revoke.
If you are going to hold my right to play something I paid for hostage, you can bet I am going to reclaim what I lost if that access is taken away from me (this does not apply to you selfish assholes that hack games to cheat then get banned).
So far the GOP is 0 for 3.
The phrase “let go” is definitely PR speak. It makes it sound less aggressive than “fired” or “terminated”.
I have heard arguments that “fired” has the implication that the employee is at fault and did something bad, but the argument is weak.
I’m not a scientist, but I think it is because humans like patterns, which is what music is. What makes random banging and loud noises annoying and how is that different from music? I think the answer is that music has patterns. What makes people like or hate different types of music is that they like one pattern over another.
