Ok to make some thing clear because you seem to misunderstand a lot of things. I’m not from the US, I vote greens in my country and despise the liberals of your and my country. When i put quotes around against genocide I do so because as I explain in the whole thing it’s in effect not against genocide as it’s not stopping it plus adding a genocide in your own population. I don’t put the quotes around genocide without the word against because a genocide it is. You are so caught up in your whole spiel that you’ve built a boogeyman you assume me to be without actually reading the text which is already clear when you take my introductory sentence and complain that I’ve not provided the logic before the introduction. When my logic sends like standard laser evil tropes then that’s because it is. I detailed the logic without buzzwords because so many people stop thinking about the why the moment they hear them. Well sorry but that’s not how logic works

Our givens are:

• Trump or Harris will win the White House
• There is a 3rd party further left (supposedly because she declared her goal as having Harris not win the White House even though she can’t win herself so her goal is effectively to help Trump) that is against the genocide that will not win the White House

=> Harris is left of Trump (if only slightly in most points)

=> The people jumping to a 3rd party that is further left than Harris are only ex Dems.

=> Dems weaken while GOP is not weakening

=> Trump gets more likely voted into the White House the more people vote Green

=> Voting “against genocide” is causing the Party to win that makes Genocide most likely worse (fairly sure Trump said he wants to accelerate it) and will also Genocide its own population, starting by queers, immigrants and women

If you had a different voting system I’d agree with you that voting 3rd Party is the way to go but you don’t have a voting system where that is anything but a vote thrown away in blind idealism. So yes if you vote 3rd Party I will blame you for worsening an existing and adding another genocide.

Jill Stein declared her goal as preventing Harris from winning the White House even though she knows she can’t win herself, so basically her goal is to put Trump in power who is going to continue or worsen the genocide in Gaza while adding genocide on the US’s queer population, women and immigrants and even descendants of immigrants that live there for multiple generations. As a little bonus he’s going to give Ukraine to Russia by not delivering weapons to them anymore, thus helping a warmonger take over it’s neighbouring country.

That is how your actions lead to more genocide.

I’d say they’ve probably long reached the point where they have enough customers around the world to hold the load on their servers fairly constant. The example with one user only taking 5% of a servers load only works for low customer counts, similar to how you can’t count on one wind turbine or solar plant to provide all of your energy but if you have enough of them you can provide a base line of fairly constant energy

Please don’t take Clown farmers serious:

On steam you can give awards to people, one of which is a clownface. If you receive a reward, you gain steam points which you can use to purchase profile customizations, emotes, steam startup movies and maybe more idk. So People started spamming ridiculous shit on steam to be a clown and receive those clown emotes by people taking them serious. The best move is to report them, block them and move on. They also quite often pretend to be marginalized groups to as a “bonus” make those groups look bad which kinda brings despair to me when I see people actually taking them serious and not realizing it’s all fake.

The worst part about it is that they usually pretend to be a queer person demanding queer representation in games in the most rude way possible and then people take this shit serious and take it out on actual queer people.

Been the younger sibling to an abusive 4 year older brother. Beating him up wasn’t an option as even small age differences are big regarding strength. All i could do was de-escalate, lock my room (and turn my key slightly because our rooms had the same key shape so he could just push my key out from the outside and unlock it) and hope he doesn’t still manage to get in there. 100% agree. While i love showing off my general form some days because I’m proud of myself, it’s never just the chest and if something is visible there it’s by accident and not meant for public viewing. Sometimes it’s very hot out which might get me to put on fairly loose blouses but that’s not for show and more for me to not die of a heat stroke. So unless we’ve been dating for a bit, no, please don’t stare at my chest. If we’ve been dating however, i might do it on purpose 😋

Bazzite: funktioniert einfach

Hatte mal Ubuntu probiert und war nicht Fan. Bin jetzt seit ein paar Monaten mit bazzite unterwegs und musste nur ein Mal das Terminal öffnen, weil die einen Fehler mit dem Schlüssel zur Authentifizierung der OS Versionen gemacht hatten und neue Updates einen anderen Schlüssel hatten oder so. Bin echt erstaunt, wie gut alles läuft.

I’ve looked a bit into the past of this community and there’s quite a bunch of open source projects shared here and none of them had people in the comments complaining about that. Honestly just seems like thinly veiled queer hate to me.

I was the same. I tried Ubuntu once and went back after a day or two because i didn’t want to bother tinkering after work when i just want to relax. A few weeks ago I was finally so annoyed by Microsoft’s bs that i tried bazzite which gets recommended a lot here and it is great. I didn’t have to open the terminal even once so far, everything just works right out of the box.

So far I’ve tried Elden Ring (online as well with anti cheat), Age of Wonders 4, Talos Principle 2, Baldurs Gate 3 and a few others and they all just work and not in the Todd Howard way but actually. I also went through a bunch of the recent demo flood on steam and no issues.

I’m gonna miss Valorant but I mostly played that one once in a few months. And i can always just make a little 300GB windows partition that i only boot for invasive anti cheat games.

So what you’re saying is you’re scared of the supposed negative impacts on society. The negative impact being less people are depressed and less people kill themselves as they can openly be who they are without someone shoving their heteronormative worldview based on misinformation down their throats.
