Sadly Firefox is also slowly becoming malware.

Used electronics go brrrrrr
Get on my level
When I was younger I loved tech and everything related to computers. Now I am nearly 30, and I hate tech more each day. Not only it’s a waste of time, it becomes worse and less user friendly every year, full of nonsensical problems, AI bullshit and overall less control of our devices.
I need to finally buy a fucking bicycle, and spend some more time outdoors, or I will get crazy.
I enjoy YouTube Music, because it is much snappier and better than Spotify, but there are some things that just make no sense, and I wonder how are they not spotted by not even a single dev.
One of the first things I do while migrating user to a new PC (or just giving one for newly employed person) is that I disable all useless Microsoft shit automatically starting up in the task manager.
You can still use the classic version of Outlook, that comes with latest Office. It is literally called “Outlook (classic)” in the start menu.
Writing detailed and technical comments in English is easier that saying a simple English sentence in real life for me, lol.
I’d accept paywalls If I could pay for a ‘package’ where I have access for all these paywalled websites and each gets money proportional to how often I’ve used them. There’s no way I am going to pay for all these separately.
But there’s no such thing, so I just block ads, and whenever I see a paywalled website I just close it.
How do you get these AI an answers anyway?
I don’t know if that was a near death experienced, but one time I have nearly collapsed when commuting on a bus, after I drank 5 cups of coffee. My blood pressure went through the roof.
It also made me think some things in my life.
Eh, I’d rather go for a walk with my dog. At least he won’t be sad.
You are very dedicated.
I am Polish, so it’s not that hard for me :) But I’ve made a huge mistake of not learning where to put an accent (ударение) on each word, so my pronunciation might be way off for some words. Also I try way too hard to make sentences that make sense in Polish, but in Russian they might sound weird. Lack of practice, I guess. But I definitely see progress over time when I talk to native speakers (Ukrainian refugees mostly).
I remember having trouble installing software from Microsoft Store, (there’s apparently a solution for that, but it didn’t work for me) but otherwise it’s a perfectly normal Windows 10 installation, just without any bloat.
EU should just go and tell Microsoft that either they will allow consumers to install Windows 11 on hardware that would have no trouble running it (they could even slap a warning that it’s not fully “supported”, like whatever), or tell the user that there’s an eco-friendly alternative: that is running Linux, with instructions on how to do so. Otherwise they just allow a monopoly to have disastrous impact on the environment.
explorer.exe
is still used for desktop and probably other stuff as well, so it might not be possible without using 3rd party shell replacement and not many exist.
You can run Windows in virtual machine, you know.
It would be the best if you could have dedicated GPU for it, to be able to run games with nearly 100% performance.
Why are they making it harder for me to learn Russian and Turkish :/
Good. Fuck Elon Musk and Twitter.
