My route to where I volunteer at keeps getting blocked at night by construction. Guess they decided night time was the best time to repave the roads? There is the same amount of traffic at both times

I absolutely despise media that relies on sex for the plot. It just ruins it for me. I’m also not a teen.

I had a sign in my yard that said “support trans kids” someone peeled into my driveway, leaving huge ruts in the gravel/mud, and stole the sign one day when I wasn’t home. That’s when I decided to not voice my opinion openly like that anymore.

I meant being bothered as in strangers harassing me for my beliefs lol. I live in a grossly red part of my state and I keep a low profile out of what I feel is necessity

I will never express my opinions in places where I can be easily identified unless I am among people I know and trust. I will vote and keep my leftist ideology to myself amongst strangers irl. I rather like living without being bothered.

Part of my job is keeping all of the endpoints my work manages up to date with patch compliance. I’ve had to create exceptions for the past two windows 11 updates because they won’t run on most machines for no reason. It’s been a pain in the ass. I can’t just add the machines to the exception list without doing basic troubleshooting because “procedure” and I’ve spent so much time doing absolutely unnecessary shit.

The kids at my school didn’t get away with it because social media and all that shit. This was also in 2014-2015, so tracking down whodunnit was exceptionally easy lol

In senior year, my school district had 30+ bomb threats in one year. Every time we’d hear the loudspeaker ring, we’d just start grabbing our shit. They stopped telling people about them after a while because evacuating the kids once a week was a shitshow. Every threat was linked to a handful of kids who wanted attention or wanted to get out of tests/homework. I was out sick on the day the feds showed up and started arresting kids.

That doesn’t change the fact that doggy-dog is incorrect.

Haven’t used Amazon in two years. I don’t even have an account anymore. Doesn’t stop them from sending me emails 3x/day to sign up again. I try to shop local, but I do have to go to shitty corp stores for some stuff.

I was put on hydroxychloroquine a few months ago and it’s great, but having a formal diagnosis now is making it scary.
