The concern is completely valid and I would like them not to steal the data too
The more I hide the better
But I’m just stating my usage of vpn, which is not fully hiding, but sometimes, distancing my data
Since hiding is often hard and sometimes impossible and (subjectively) is not fully my goal
The reason I use VPN is to hide from local ISP and unknown websites… not from VPN provider and legit websites
This looks like ram disconnection or a GPU bugging out (usually a simple restart fixes everything unless you bump and shake it a little)
And definitely re-seating the ram would be a wise move

I use libre office regularly and the moment I open ms office I breathe back fresh air since it just has a ton of features
But most importantly it reads docx natively which is used by all the regular ppl around which I often need for absolute compatibility that libreoffice can’t perfect most of the time
But still using libre office because it’s oss and because it doesnt require downloading a 5 OR 6 GB INSTALLATION FILE over my 100kibps average connection… And because its cool, I hope they improve it more and more as they are doing all the time

One problem I have with all piped clients is that piped is considerably slower in internet speed compared to any Google site since google is given a higher speed by my ISP (along with other commonly used sites)
And this affects the watching experience by a lot
Other problems include newpipe having an old material interface, libretube often crashing, subscriptions porting being a hell of a process, and losing a bunch of official features… etc
That doesn’t mean I hate it. I still love piped concept and clients
Why is it easier (for me) to find nice apps on fdroid these days compared to play store where all I find is uninteresting apps
