prophetic nature of The Boys
“History doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes” Fascists always doing fascist shit, don’t need to prophetic when it comes from the same tired playbook.

As an ohioian, the current system isn’t enabling some nobel pursuit of holding people accountable. It’s blatantly “our team draws the lines, in a way that benefits our team, who can draw the lines next time, benefitting our team again”
And even after the R weighted supreme court rules “the lines are biased - throw out the map”, they still find a way to use the map anyway. Yeah. Calling it a “repeal of gerrymander protection” is a joke and a half.
The site predates the comics by 15 years, I feel confident it influenced the character name.
What was ever cool about stormfront? I remember them as the ignorant assholes that got booted off public BBS and created it as a KKK safe space.
After typing it out, funny to me how that keeps recurring.
Edit - lol I guess “stormfront” they meant this character from The Boys, not the Klan site oops.
pacman-contrib has pacdiff and paccache I like to run at the end of my update scripts
The easiest approach would likely be “scouting” on behalf of an associate, perhaps they couldn’t make it and sent you. Take lots of pictures for your associate, and you’re not personally involved with the purchase makes it easier to handwave questions.
If you insist on pretending to be rich keep discussion light, talk about potential renovations, take pictures to send to your designer. Ask about the history of the home, dig for unique characteristics. Inquire about the area and what kind of “crowds” to expect. Don’t dress too fancy, don’t pull up in a 09 civic (park around the block and walk), and if they ask, you made a small fortune trading crypto.
100% depends on who’s performing. I’ve driven 500 miles for a festival, but probably wouldn’t for a single artist/one night show.
There’s a lot of testimony out there on social media saying he may have!
Me at the 10am Monday meeting
NOOOOOooo! Rest in peace Mr Jones, thanks for all the memories
Sneaky, thanks for raising this.
I’m entering 40s and this doesn’t sound normal to me. Get a second opinion if your doctor is writing it off. Don’t get me wrong, as I got older my joints are sore and pop in the morning. My back can’t handle some sports I used to enjoy. You’re too young to be struggling with jars and shoes in my completely uninformed nonprofessional opinion.
Well, fair point. There is mutiny and defection as options. I understand the consequences for such a decision is certain death, in contrast to probable death on the field, though.
Conscription?
Why would it be a war crime? Just can’t use the chemical payloads over civilian populations like Russia was during their initial campaigns.
Use of napalm also isn’t a war crime, the context of targets is what makes it one.
- Some republican, in sincerity.
Source? I’d like to see some modern numbers about those compile times. Hasn’t been my experience at all.
Funny enough all the companies I listed are still operating in some capacity, but under new owners that swooped in during the bankruptcies. EB Games is kind of an outlier, they consolidated into GameStop in the US. Kmart Aus was already independent before my time.
My resume once consisted of EB Games, RadioShack, Circuit City and Kmart. Call me the corporate reaper, the fifth job was tough.
(I’m just not good at picking employers.)
They’ve updated the maps, my personal district changed the last couple years. But the maps they are using are still the ones the court explicitly ruled unconstitutional, I think from 2022. Brennan center has a nice timeline.
