In the video, several marked and unmarked Customs and Border Protection vehicles can be seen pulling into the parking lot as several apparently armed agents got out of the vehicles.
School officials in Pico Rivera are calling for a federal investigation after immigration enforcement officers were seen on surveillance video appearing to urinate in the campus parking lot.
The incident happened on the morning of June 17, at Ruben Salazar High School in Pico Rivera. The El Rancho Unified School District shared surveillance video from the school parking lot on YouTube on Wednesday.
Over the next few minutes, nearly a dozen agents are seen walking to a part of the parking lot, near a couple of shipping containers. The agents seem to reach for their pants while walking to covered areas, stand still for several moments, then walk away. The district says school staff saw the agents peeing.
ICE agents exposed themselves to staff in a parking lot next to a preschool playground and an in-session elementary school. These agents need to be identified and prosecuted just like anyone else would be in such circumstances.

I believe reporters could get sued if they state that someone committed a crime before they are found guilty, even when it’s very clear they did it.
It is a high school next to an elementary school with a playground for preschoolers. The video shows the men walking up to the containers and apparently urinating, but you cannot specifically see that that is what they are doing. The staff at the school however did see that they were urinating.

I mean outside of how pissing outside on a school would land any of us on a list…how absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional for a public servant to piss outside at a school during the school day.
That’s not how to conduct yourself in society…it’s how I imagine a bunch of disrespectful soldiers might treat the citizens of an invaded country they look down on.
Doing this would get a person on the sex offender registry in my state.
It’s always the ones you most expect.

In this case I think it might just be complete disdain for basic human dignity.
“This matter is under investigation,” the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said in a statement.
“We’ve investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing.”
I’m sure both those ICE Agents will be promoted.
At the least, suspended with pay while an internal investigation finds no wrongdoing.

I don’t think there are any ICE agents on Lemmy, nor do I think they’re the kind of people who think about consequences.
Unfortunately there are some users on Lemmy very ready to see ICE’s new budget justify political deportations. But yeah, I don’t think any of them would have any cognitive dissonance about it.
I’m surprised they didn’t break into the library to do that to a copy of the Constitution.
