Fuck every Republican piece of shit who enabled this to happen. Fuck all who refused to vote in the most consequential presidential election so far. Fuck everyone who said Harris wasn’t worth voting for. We’re kicking people out who took a bullet for this country with such callousness and the average American citizen just simply shrugs their their shoulders and carry on. What is wrong with us?

Most of us didn’t vote because we liked Harris. We did so because she was the only candidate forced on us who wasn’t a fascist felon piece of shit who’d hunt down innocent people for racist ideologies. We’re constantly forced to vote against a candidate in this country rather than for someone we actually like. Just admit you like Trump and what’s going on right now. You’re pretty much being the guy in the well:

On the contrary, if the only reason you voted for Harris was to vote against Trump then it sounds like you agree with me.

If, on the other hand, there was something about Harris’ campaign that actually spoke to you, then I’d love to hear it.

No, a single issue protest is what made people not bother to vote. Of the ninety one million registered non-voters, it’s a safe assumption to make that the difference would have been covered had even a small fraction of them done the bare minimum required to keep him from being elected.

And considering that conservatives are well known to show up when it comes time to vote, and democrats and and other parties in opposition of the right, aren’t-

it was a given that he would win.

So, no. It wasn’t that Harris wasn’t electable. She wasn’t perfect. Not even close. But she wasn’t a fascist either. And that should have been enough. So no, what it was, was that there happened to be- as there is every election, a single issue that a lot of people gave cause to withhold their vote in defiance of….

And unfortunately, this cost us our democracy.

      What is wrong with us?

Apathy, hopelessness, ignorance, and, in the case of GOP voters, malice.
