Mid-30s male here. I’ve been rocking the shoulder length to armpit length rock and roll hair. Many of the boomers give me a hard time, but everyone under 40 loves it.

I always get like a 2 on the sides and finger length on top. I don’t really like it but my hair’s looked like shit (to me, anyway) since I started caring so I just decided to stop doing that.

Mid-20s. Somewhere between chin and shoulder length. Wish it would grow a little longer, but otherwise and happy with my long hair, even if my dad tells me I should go short.

Not sure if it technically counts but… shaved head.

Mid 30s male, rocking this “hairstyle” over half of my life now (hair started to go when I was 15-16). And honestly loving it (certainly better than a bald patch lol). While I sometimes wonder, how would it be if I had hair, I couldn’t go back even if all my hair magically got back.

Late 30s myself. Hair was pretty much individial scatrered follicles at the top by the time I was 22. Rocking a number 1. Very short length is surprisingly high maintainence as even a bit of regrowth shows quickly so it needs to be trimmed back down every 2 weeks max. I alternate between “I’m not paying someone to do this, I’ll trim it myself”; and “I can’t be bothered with this effort, I’m going to get a barber to do this”.

This is part of my identity now. Being called “bald” doesn’t sound like an insult and just sounds descriptive to me now (my pre-school had started calling me bald everyday and patting my head). I refuse to even consider any hair regrowth treatment. If it magically grew back one day, I would provably grow it to short-medium length and complain the whole time about how much effort this shit is.

About 8-20 mm give or take. Any longer would look bad due to male pattern balding (I should probably go even shorter).

48 trans woman, about 6’1", I keep my hair armpit length. Long enough to curl some waves in or throw it into a ponytail. Very happy with it since I take good care of it without ever adding coloring or treatments.

Younger 30s AMAB here. It’s between shoulder and armpit length now and I love it despite the amount of work it takes now.
I’ve never had it this long before, mostly out of fear about what others would say, particularly my dad. But shortly before 30, I just decided to say, “fuck it,” and started growing it out. Now after growing it out for the past few years I’ve never felt more like me.
And the best part? I have received almost nothing but compliments about my hair. I learned to care for it correctly and found out it’s actually pretty curly. I always thought it was just wavy. It makes the ladies jealous and I get to establish my dominance with the best hair in the room.

Chin-length layered bob, and also extremely happy with it. I wore my hair about bra strap-length most of my life, but once I went short I never went back. Shorter cuts are much more flattering for my face shape and personality.

I used to have armpit length hair. However I developed eczema in the past few years and have to keep my hair short to make it easier to control dandruff. I still keep the hair on the top of my head longer, but have the sides and back shorter (like 7 on the electric clippers).
