Musk being a massive POS goes back years, but specifically entered the public consciousness when he called that dude trying to save the trapped kids in the mine a pedophile.

No, he absolutely could not have. Musk was full mask-off Nazi before the Cybertruck was released.

No it fucking isn’t. It’s a matter of historical fact, and you are just flat-out wrong.

Also, thank you @FlyingSquid@lemmy.world for bringing the receipts.

No problem. It’s amazing how people never bother to check this stuff.

The Cybertruck was released on November 30, 2023. Two weeks before, he endorse an antisemitic tweet.

      https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2023/nov/16/elon-musk-antisemitic-tweet-adl

You know when he apologized for it? November 30th.

      https://edition.cnn.com/2023/11/29/investing/elon-musk-dealbook-summit/index.html

Either this guy knew Musk said that and didn’t care, knew Musk said it and forgave him when he didn’t know better, or didn’t even bother paying attention to something that was national news at the time.

And whichever it was, it doesn’t speak highly of him.

I don’t have a Twitter, and I don’t follow Elon Musk religiously. I wish he’d go away, but, well, we both know that’s not happening.

Unless you were the one who bought the Cybertruck, this isn’t about you and I don’t know why you think it is.
