I would kind of like to get Adderall, my kids are sure I’m undiagnosed ADD, but scared of amphetamines because I always loved them as recreational drugs when I was younger so would be afraid of abusing them.
OP must not be from America, where prescription only medicine adds are force-fed to people that still pay $ to see adds via cable/satalight TV.
I pirate everything. What is an add even.
I was shocked by a recent commercial for Ozempic.
“i just asked”
Aa a non americsn I was shocked by seeing ads for medication
You guys do different over there.
What I wish is that I could get stronger allergy medicine without a prescription. $10/month on over-the-counter pills and stay a little stuffy, or a more costly prescription and be slightly less stuffy.
- What allergy med
- where do you buy it
- how much (unit dosage, cost)
Yeah, no. You just made it weird. If you are doing market research, you need to disclose that to people.
Ok, I disagree but if you feel that way thats ok too. Too little information so maybe a solution wasnt the point :( I’m not great at the just airing it out part
For example, if you have Costco they are way more reasonable and you get a good amount for low cost,
Depending on your country there might not allergy meds available by prescription (lile Claritin etc), OTC makes them more money and insurance doesnt want to cover that stuff. There’s ways to save or maybe other alternatives but nobody can help with that if they dont know the cards you’re holding back.

A lot of people responding to comments here aren’t looking for help. The people who post a thread to ask a question, yes, the people replying, no, not unless they are actually asking for help.
If you asked, “who wants help thinking of ideas to lower their meds costs”, I wouldn’t have replied because I’m not looking for help with the private details of my medical concerns.

Anti-depressants. I mean I know I could technically get a prescription by going to a doctor, but that requires an amount of effort I’m not capable of. If I was functional enough to put in the effort it takes to get diagnosed I wouldn’t be depressed in the first place. Depression combined with extreme social anxiety is a bitch
Can you look into an online telemedicine service?
I think certain antidepressants should be legally sold over the counter. They’re already prescribed to anyone who asks for them, but going to a doctor and asking for them can be really hard for a depressed person.
I’m on enough as is. I just wish I had less side effects of what I’m on.
I’d love to be on a GLP-1 (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc). I’ve had Wegovy prescribed, but my plan excludes it and the others unless you have diabetes.
It’s definitely one of the current “trendy” prescriptions in the USA right now, which I hate since a lot of people are using them as “get thin quick” hacks that will fix their life. Being a 300lb guy without diabetes where general diet and exercise aren’t dropping the pounds, my prescriber said I’d be a perfect candidate for it.
Whats your diet philosophy (not dieting, what macros do you gravitate toward or what do you struggle with objectively?)
I was offered this at a MedSpa just for saying I had like 5-10 vanity pounds I’d like to drop but I am a terrible candidate for it. Like, sure I could take it, lose the weight, stop taking it, how the heck would I keep it off? If I could keep it off I could lose it! It’s more like I am already living and eating and exercising and healthy but healthy doesn’t look the way I want it to.
This is probably part of the shortage, I wholeheartedly agree. The lifestyle doctors are prescribing it to the wrong group. Not the people who would be healthier simply by dropping weight.
What are you eating to maintain 300lb though? That is a lot of mass!
I want to see if Adderall would be effective for me. It’s not something you can just take 1 and see how it works; it’s one of those kinds of drugs you need to take for a month or so before you start seeing anything so I’d need a prescription and not just a pill or two from someone I know who has it.
But it’s also super expensive and my insurance wouldn’t cover the total cost so even if I had a prescription, I’d be unable to afford it.
Medicinal marijuana.
A smile
If we’re just granting wishes here I think I’d probably just wish I didn’t need any medications at all
Lortabs. I fuck like a champ on them lol. Plus ya know the side affect of getting faded.
