    Muski’s kids hate him, so obviously he assumes everyones kids hate their parents.

    The warning is only because he personally doesn’t want to give his businesses to his kids.

    Nepotism is obviously bad and you shouldn’t just arbitrarily pass it on.

      Nepotism isn’t the same thing as bequesting something to someone else.

      If you’re engaging in nepotism, you’re in a situation where people are supposed to be treated impartially but are not.

      But that obligation doesn’t exist in terms of bequesting stuff that’s actually yours – you don’t have constraints on who to leave it to.

      If Elon Musk left his 20% or whatever share of Tesla to his kid, that wouldn’t be nepotism.

      But if he attempted to arrange that his kid be CEO of Tesla, that would.
