Do you think 21-, 22- and 23-year-old women and men should be allowed to consent to sex with older adults 10-20 years older than them? Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. One could argue that an adult in their 40s or 50s who chooses to date someone 21-23 or 22-24 deserves to die. I have heard these arguments before.

What do you think?

Same thing we thought the last 12 times you asked.

Adults are allowed to make their own choices, and others are allowed to be creeped out by it. Statistically, when one person is much older, it results in a toxic one-sided relationship, but not always.

Either way, it is nobody’s business.

If this chance is high then why should it be allowed?

Same reason people are allowed to date cops. Free Will wins, despite the increased risk of danger.

Because the job of society is not to keep anyone from ever making a mistake. If people aren’t allowed to make and learn from mistakes, they can never deepen their self understanding or grow.
