I’m so done with even the concept of voting.
Kewl kewl. Feel free to move to North Korea or China. You’ll never get a say in anything again!

Oh, so you’re in the “I’m part of the problem” camp. What kind of mental gymnastics do you manage to pull off to rationalize this?
Are you young? Because progress is progress and you should never waste it. It may take a generation to gain an inch, but one bad year to go back a foot. I will never understand people who are willing to throw it all away because feelings.
Not sure how you determined a reinstall is going to solve the problem. Looks like a bug. I’d suggest filling bug report.
It’s pretty trivial to “reset” the desktop to default if you think there’s config file problem rather than a bug with a recent release. Again, can’t really wrap my head around a reinstall solving this.
My understanding is that on Linux, you will not get VRR on an AMD GFX card using a usb-c adapter. Which is why this update from the article we are all commenting on is so disheartening.
When I built my all AMD system 1.5 years ago I tried ALL the adapters. Did I get video, sure. But I wasn’t getting all the features of HDMI 2.1. Has that been addressed? Because even looking at reviews today it’s mixed.
You’re not going to bring in new users to a platform if they can’t use an HDMI cable that utilizes the full capabilities of their TV. Not everyone has USBC option or especially DP on their already purchased televisions.
Why do people ignore this? This isn’t about me or you understanding and sacrificing and adapting to use Linux desktop. We’re talking about real issues hindering adoption from the common user who doesn’t care their steam device is using Linux.
Well it’s pretty clear when one day your library has enough funding for after school activities with the kids.
So how’s Russia these days? They paying you well?
