This is just going to get worse thanks to the current administration:
- tariffs raising prices
- stagflation
- job losses/layoffs/hiring freezes stacking up
- AI bubble to pop eventually
Seems like a bad cycle that will be difficult to break.

But do we really need bigger turbines? It seems the ones we have work fine.
warn children about social media’s documented health risks, which range from increased anxiety to body dysmorphia to sleep interruption.
No different than TV shows or magazine ads that do these same things. But there’s no warnings there.
I’d be more interested in warnings that you could see graphic images of violence, be subject to personal harassment, or interact with disturbingly insane people or pedos.
“The filing comes after Utah’s Division of Forestry, Fire & State Lands said it was seeking to terminate the company’s leases to operate in the state. Utah has blamed the company U.S. Magnesium for pollution, based on an academic review.”
So it could have stayed in business. It just chose not to. The minerals aren’t going anywhere, so let someone buy them out who actually knows what they are doing. Hell, just have the government take over it if it’s gonna be such a drama.
Also Microsoft: “Why aren’t people upgrading to Windows 11?”
They can have them. Heavy, bulky, blurry, high voltage, pain in the ass to repair nonsense. I do not miss CRTs at all.
I guess that happens when you’re no longer beholden to government grants for your funding.
How was it engraved? Did the guy own some sort of engraving rig? How did he fit all this text on a bullet?
“Full self driving is just 12 months away.“
As pointed out in one of the many other threads about this article — mechanical flush handles aren’t the problem. Motor-driven electronic handles are.
Because we don’t have enough media consolidation yet. 🙄
Meta should never have been allowed to buy its competitors; WhatsApp, Instagram.
Yikes.
Where are they getting $1.5 billion from? Is this business actually profitable?
Could’ve paid for this previously using money from the feds. But instead they turned their nose at funding that came from “Biden”. Now it will have to come from fresh Texan tax payer money.
It’s a horrible, horrible ruling, and I hope that it drags out in appeals long enough to reach someone who actually knows what they’re doing.
Maybe if they add 3D, people will buy them!

Good thing Fairlife is lactose free then I guess.
Good point. We do get some good local programming out of our NPR station.
As someone mentioned, that’s probably why they’ve been defunded recently. Can’t have anyone competing with the oligarch-controlled propaganda outlets!
Interesting. If throw my tax returns in the garbage, and take the garbage can to the curb — there’s no expectation of privacy. The law says anyone can dig through the trash once it’s at the curb.
