This is what we need AI for. Robots that can independantly handle this type of task that is too dangerous for humans.
Fuck the generative garbage we have now. Work on this stuff instead.

He’s also ignoring the fact that if your job’s responsibilities are mission-critical, chances are you have a contract which stipulates situations in which you can be contacted after hours. It’s about Joe Schmoe IT guy being called in at 7pm while he’s having dinner with his family and being told to come to work because Greg the assistant to the Sales VP forgot his password again. Greg can fuck right off until tomorrow morning.
The server going down at 2am is mission-critical and the guy in charge of it will definitely be answering that call to fix it.
The EcoTank models are built to be refilled from bottles. The ink is also much cheaper, and they can be used with dye sublimation ink if one wishes.
Their regular printers are shitty otherwise.
Totally optional features that come set up by default are not really optional unless they’re opt-in from the start. Most users are not savvy enough to figure out how to disable that kind of stuff.
Texas judge rules on case before hearing case.
We all know where this is going.
Is your scaling set to something other than 100%? That seems to mess with gamescope and mouse location detection or something like that.
On desktop, you can copy/paste images into the textbox.
Try turning off display scaling in your desktop settings. It did a similar thing for me, where the game would display at 1440 but acted like the mouse was on a 1080 screen.
The transcript is typed by a stenographer, so good luck reading it anyway.
Sounds like bullshit to me. Not that it’s impossible or anything, but it seems pretty late for this information to come out if it is true, especially after all the admissions of failings from the USSS, etc. You’d think that’s the kind of information that should have been mentioned right away. A month later, it sounds like they’re just making excuses and trying to make themselves sound good.
They haven’t finished yet, and third place is still TBD
That’s not the point. You specifically may not own a Blu-Ray player, but there have been 280 million non-dedicated devices from a single company sold that play them. That’s not counting other consoles like Xbox One and Series X, computers with BD drives, and dedicated BD players.
Seems like a far cry from your statement that nobody owns one. Even as hyperbole, it’s just false.
Wait, what about the President? I thought he was kidnapped by ninjas.
It’s worth noting disk video is usually uncompressed
Just being a bit pedantic here, but they’re much less compressed since their source is generally the original recordings. Anything you get from streaming services is much more heavily compressed, and anything you’re likely to pirate is compressed from DVD or Blu-ray sources (or worse, they can be compressed from already compressed streaming sources.)
Playstation 3, 4, and 5 sold a combined 280 million units, that’s a decent number of Blu-Ray players.
You could go visit hexbear and you’d find out pretty quickly. It’s definitely not for everyone.
The original Baldur’s Gate came on a single CD and had full install size of under 600MB. It was also possible to do a partial install and to load files off the CD at runtime.
Does installing the Proton BattlEye runtime do anything?
I don’t play many games that use it, but for Ark you have to install a separate BattlEye.
