After reading Wikipedia they are still active if I understand correctly? They are not dead?
To be fair, at the current state search engines work LLMs might not be the worst idea.
I’m looking for the 7800x3d, not 3D shooters, not the 1234x3d, no not the pentium 4, not the 4700rtx. It takes more and more effort to search something, and the first pages show every piece of crap I’m not interested in.
No idea, but it might be important to add in which country the story takes place.
The internet is already, to a huge extent, untrustworthy and soulless.
When I think back to the 2000s, it was wild west. And it was fun. Not efficient but adventurous fun.
At this point today I don’t care anymore. Give me the items and information I need, anything else like Lemmy is just a small bonus.
my understanding was that they travelled to the prime world and changed the event that led to the creation of the parallel worlds and preventing everything. The machine that led to everything never was built.
Monkey Island 1 to 4.
I once was recommended a Japanese anime, “Gate”. It’s about a fantasy world trying to invade our modern realm. Earth strikes back with modern weapons, the fantasy world has no chance with their dragons, Orks and magic.
This I would love to see more of, asymmetrical warfare, it’s just a power fantasy, but a fun one!
In the 2020s alone we had COVID, Russian Nazis, and now Trump Nazis. Oh, and we went past 1.5 degrees.
I got a reproduction of a painting I really liked over the years and seen many times hanging in a museum. It looks like the original, extremely high quality, hand painted, and it cost 800 €. It even got a certificate of the artist who recreated it with the techniques and materials she used. There is a market for this, but you should first check the website obviously that it’s not a fake store.
But if it’s not, it’s legit and legal.
It was the same for me with the guy with the hamster in Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2. He’s a favourite to everyone, to me he was just an annoying idiot.
Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Feels like good old Asimov could have written it. The remake is also pretty good so far.
May I ask out of curiosity what led to the decision that this was a good idea?
Since she has horns (are these horns?) I’d call some scientists over. This might be the biggest discovery of all time. An extraterrestrial or extra dimensional lifeform? This would change everything!
If anyone can tell me how to get rid of the bar at the bottom, that would be nice. I don’t need a taskbar or a line, it’s a fucking tablet.
I takes a few millimetres of real estate, it sucks.
Edit: Android 12.
Bob Roberts. It’s more relevant than ever!
If you are not sure how to search for a specific problem and can just describe it in a few sentences then it’s definitely worth the effort.
And for the state many search engines are in today that is sometimes the better way to find stuff.
Isn’t that this Windows imitation I sometimes hear about?
(I have a death wish I guess)
But on a serious side: I need an easy to use Linux system next year for my parents who are not very tech savvy. Do you have a recommendation for easy use that feels like Windows? It will only be used for browsing, open office and stuff.
I have a bunch of retro machines, and one of them is running XP. Not long ago I enjoyed No one lives forever on it. Nothing beats the correct hardware.
Regarding fixes, Service Pack 2 is enough. And since Steam is not supporting retro machines anymore there is no reason to connect it to the internet anymore, thankfully gog let’s me download the installers, all the more reason to use gog exclusively. At least for my special gaming tastes.
I had no idea it was a solo project, but now that you mention it, yes, it’s written big on the cover :) And yes, the lineup, the choir, the stage props, I just love it!
Pure Pink Floyd would be The Division Bell then.
