There are a few communities on there which I still check, but I spend a significantly less amount of time on Reddit than I used to. I also refuse to post anything or interact on that site anymore.

I use these sites to see what races are on my local ballot and to get an idea about who is running. If you need more info, you might search on some of your local news stations or newspaper websites.
For the major races, like President or Congress, hopefully you have already decided by now.
Oh my God, I HATE it when they use the dub script for the subtitles on anime. It’s fine if they want to offer it as a separate subtitle stream as closed captions for the hearing impaired, but when I’m watching something in the original language I expect the subtitles to be faithful to what they are actually saying, and I want the timing to actually match. It’s incredibly frustrating when the lines don’t actually match up with the sound of the dialogue, and then you realize it’s a “dubtitle” script.
What does natron offer that you would use it over fusion (in davinci resolve)?
Oh my gosh, when I was a child I remember going into a shop at the beach which sold all kinds of holographic images. And I remember a couple of them had pictures of things like a telescope or binoculars, and you could actually look into them! I’ve been searching for a while for any kind of information about these things, and I was almost ready to believe that I had just imagined it. But there is the same thing just 1 minute into this video!
It sounds like it works really well. The physical size does sound quite large, but I’m not sure how that compares against other types of batteries.
From googling it for a few minutes, it seems to be legit, but as it’s just a kind of marketplace to connect people, there seem to be complaints of a lot of bullshit like fake jobs being posted and stuff.
If she is serious about editing, it might be a possible first step to find some crappy jobs to help fill out a portfolio.
Not the op, but we do use them in my house too. We use every one that we get. We can line them with paper (we collect our junk mail paper for this purpose) to prevent leaks if there happen to be any tiny holes.
Use a bag daily during dinner prep to collect all the food trash and packaging and stuff that needs to be moved to the main trash can. Also use them as small trash bags in the bathroom and bedrooms.
I have tried several of the cheaper ones, and what I noticed is that they would start growing mold inside the brush head. I don’t really feel like putting mold in my mouth, nor do I feel like taking the brush apart and cleaning it every couple of days, so I just went back to a manual brush.
Um… you realize that nuclear doesn’t give of any pollutants?
It should probably last you several years with no issues. Look at the warranty on the model you are interested in, and assume that it should last you at least that long.
If it does fail, well at least it’s just your render cache.
Home Alone. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I don’t really rewatch movies anymore. There is so much content out there that I haven’t watched, I would rather see something new than just rewatch something that I’ve already seen.
I think Demon Slayer looks quite good.
Wow that’s actually pretty cool. I wonder how many paper authors will actually be looking at it though.
They didn’t just “happen to be around”. They created the entire ecosystem around machine learning while AMD just twiddled their thumbs. There is a reason why no one is buying AMD cards to run AI workloads.
The first game I bought for the Nintendo DS was Trauma Center. It really sold me on the idea that new kinds of games were possible with the touch screen and stylus. It was also extremely challenging to get the highest rank on each stage. I spent hours playing the stages over and over trying to get the top ranks. The arcade style gameplay was pretty addictive, and it had a good storyline too.
Udio lets you upload tracks and then remix them. What I have seen of it on YouTube seems like it might be able to do this, but I’m not certain. This is currently a paid feature though.
Actually Google tries their hardest NOT to point you to content. They scrape the data from sites and display it directly in the search results so that you don’t need to visit any site except Google. Their new AI answers that they are pushing on users are just another step in that direction.
I can buy some ice cream and put it in my freezer, and it’s extremely soft, I can just put a spoon in it with no resistance. I put that exact same ice cream in my parents freezer and it gets so hard that I can’t even scoop it with an ice cream scoop unless I let it thaw out for a few minutes. The temperature it’s stored at absolutely plays a huge difference.
No clue. While I don’t drink coffee, I did drink caffeinated sodas for a large part of my life. One day I just decided to stop drinking soda. I felt no sort of addiction or withdrawal symptom.
