I don’t know if he is a racists but Elon being somewhat intelligent and have access to AI, probably ran some scenarios that suggested a “fake salute” to get on the good graces of MAGA. And it seems to have paid off. He’s in the Oval Office and Bannon is begging Trump for attention using this third term rhetoric.
Think in terms of power. If you wanted to out maneuver your opponents who do you need on your side and who do you need to cater to. MAGA fundamentally hates billionaires so musk has to Don (pun intended) the MAGA mask. Now this would be a fine game if it didn’t cause suffering on a global scale.
