Typically around 35 but a little more when I’m on a business trip.
72 hours a week would actually kill me, I think. Do you have a plan to reduce the workload in a certain time?

I had two 0,5 Pils for dinner too many nights when I was still in university 😅
Thank you for the corrections! I had no idea it was so simple. I think my colleague had problems because she wasn’t aware of the FBAR for a few years.
Important note about this (though I don’t know how much you earn): you can only exempt up to 120000 dollar equivalent per year, and you must still file your taxes every year with the American government even if you don’t live there. Non-US bank accounts and investments also must be declared, even if you no longer live there.
I’m not American myself, but a colleague of mine is and she has mentioned having trouble with American agencies because some of these points (specifically the bank account point if I remember correctly).
I need to get myself a ThinkPad…
Only time I’ve ever used \ in a non computer context was in mathematics as “without” in set theory. As an escape character it’s pretty practical too :)
Here to represent lawful evil. Don’t know when I used a bookmark the last time >:)
I mean… if they implement the schedule F plan he can fire them anyway. At the very least they’re making a list of who to fire.
I would so love to switch when it is fully released, as it seems like a smoother better version of the workflow I have now with the current pop gnome shell, but I have never been able to top ~40fps in Wayland and there’s no support for x of course. Maybe when I upgrade my hardware :)
Not sure how much it would have changed… could have been that he would become a martyr and the maga crows would only rally more around Vance or whoever came next :/
Out of curiosity, forgetting that the US is also pursuing something similar, what motive would Google have to comply with a Japanese ruling? Could Japan just… Ban Google if they don’t comply?
I’m actually surprised AGI isn’t better defined in the contract, or that there isn’t a burden of proof so that they can’t lie, but that was definitely on purpose. I really can’t imagine them severing that tie though; OpenAI simply isn’t financially stable enough, especially in the long term, and I’m sure they know it too.
This is a very good point. It makes me a bit uneasy, even though it is still better than driverless cars. Aside from this, I also have mixed feelings about the fact that every pound being put into development and purchasing of these busses could have been put into the expansion of existing routes…
And it’s not even something that would drastically improve my experience if it was fully successful. Busses are already one of the safest modes, being safer than trains in several countries. Maybe I’ve missed something and someone can correct me, but this feels like throwing money at technology for technology’s sake.
This is a surprisingly accurate description of the difference between the days where I go to the office and the days where I work from home 😅
2017 a few days before Christmas, dad kicked me out of the house :/
I didn’t even know interactive wallpapers were a thing, that sounds so cool! I’m the kind of boring person who keeps almost every default unless it bothers me, even the wallpaper 😅
Nice! It seems like the cables are justified. I also ended up on default 12.04 with unity after a half year or so because kde at the time had too many quirky for me. I’ve honestly been wanting to give it another go since plasma 5 came out, but haven’t gotten around to it.
Kubuntu! Kubuntu 12.04 was my first distro, so it always makes me happy to see :D Also, you seem to have a lot of cables on your desk, and I can’t figure out what they’d all be for :P
I’m surprised I haven’t seen blender here yet, but I really think blender is one of open source’s greatest achievements. It feels like a professional software and is also used in the industry.
