My neighborhood still has an ice cream truck. I’m curious how many other cities still have ice cream trucks. They seem outdated at this point.

I’ve seen one around town still. Although I suspect like 90+% of its business is just from parking right outside the town pool in the summer.
It’s the middle of winter, haven’t seen one for a few months, but they’re common in summer.
We do sometimes? Like there’s no route, maybe twice a summer an ice cream truck will stroll by with music and all.
Where I’m at in Texas, the ice cream truck runs almost year-round. I’m fairly certain they’re selling drugs, because the amount they charge for ice cream is too expensive to be worth it.

We have two different ones that come through our neighborhood and drive me crazy because they both play an ice cream truck version of Stereo Love by Edward Maya and have been doing so for close to a decade now. Get a new song already!
I’ve worked repetitive, hot, boring jobs before, but I don’t know how the people working those trucks can keep their sanity with that music on repeat. I get sick enough of Christmas music in stores after hearing them like twice, and the blaring of an ice cream truck is 100x worse!
Occasionally hear the jingle during summer
Yeah they drive around all summer in Norway. Hear them once or twice a week.
Same when I’m in Denmark, I love it. Too bad we don’t have them down in Italy.
same here, we have one that regularly comes to our part of the neighborhood, but most of the time its cold season, so there isnt much demand.
Pretty much daily, I hear that song playing throughout my neighborhood.
Yep, one stops just outside my house. When my daughter was little and asked what that sound was (the ice cream van music) I’d say it was the “music van” and it just plays music for people. Didn’t get away with that for very long!
I haven’t seen a truck in a long time, but there are still dudes on bicycles selling Mexican ice cream and whatever those orange uh… Ring thingies are.
One drove by my house a few weeks ago. Before that? I haven’t seen one in the wild in years.
