    If you’re going to screenshot at least crop? But why not just save the original image and avoid (potentially) recompressing it?

      recompressing it makes it good. the worse the quality, the better the shitpost. it’s like it has been passed around through the whole internet

      Oops, I had meant to crop it but messed it up somehow. Thanks for letting me know.

      I got this from a Reddit comment, and unfortunately the official app doesn’t have a way to save images from comments anymore. They want people to share a link instead ;-;

        Now even the web interface doesn’t make it straightforward to save images. “Open image in new tab” and “Save image as” don’t work.

        You’ve just taught me we can edit images in posts too, not just titles and text. I guess it’s just a link…
