    ooh looks likely… great supporting post! not a fan of the approach where a company hides facts “we used established science and knowledge to productise a thing, but we like profit so we’ll obscure the science”

      Other than some odd specialized surfactants, most cleaning stuff is soap, alcohol, ammonia, bleach, vinegar, or water. You just have to know what not to mix together (don’t mix bleach and ammonia) and not care that it doesn’t smell like robotic lemons.

      I also use sodium hydroxide in certain cases to get grease out of filters and such, turns oil into soap.
