With only two entries, @rastacalavera@lemmy.world and @Tolookah@discuss.tchncs.de’s family member, I used the random generator suggestion and added the results as a pic.
Edit to add: If someone local wants to arrange to meet somewhere we can do that. I’ll check back on this tomorrow around 12PM Central US and if there’s a lot of interest I’ll figure out a lottery system.
Hi all,
I have a Ender-3 V2 3D printer that I’m trying to give away. It’s hardly been used, about half the little spool of filament that came with it has been used.
I’m looking for ideas because our local library has no interest and the local makers club I tried seems defunct.
I’m in the US, Twin Cities metro of Minnesota specifically and I’d rather give it away than try to sell it. I don’t want to go through the hassle, especially potentially shipping.
I will probably give it to a thrift store if I do t come up with a better idea but I’d rather give it away for free than to someone else to sell.
I may have a highschool family member out there interested (or a friend of theirs)
Edit: yes they are interested, I sent a link over to them
Ok. I updated the post. I’ll give it until tomorrow and if there’s a lot of interest in a local pickup I’ll have to work out a lottery system.
I think the easiest way might be to put all the names in the box here and press “randomize”, if it comes to that.
I didn’t hear anything else on this. Please let them know it’s there’s if they want it but if I don’t hear back today I’ll be reaching out to the maker space another user suggested.
I updated them, worst case, they should pester me to assist with using Lemmy. (I also don’t know school timing)
Ok, thanks!
