I recently cleared mine off and the cat was so grateful for his new seat.

He does love sitting on laundry, but this was a mountain and very vulnerable to avalanche.
I replaced the chair with a little clothing rack from Ikea. It still looks the same but now it’s justified.
And then you need the chair and move the whole pile to the bed, just to move it back in the evening. repeat for 10 years. Now that I’ve moved, everything will be better, i swear.
Simone Giertz embraced that idea and designed a chair for exactly that.

Nobody ever sits on the sofas in my house. Its just a glorified wardrobe.
One chair? This is my whole room.
