    Doesn’t mean it’s still okay for the environment. Those ships need to be transitioned to nuclear.

      Thousands of nuclear powered ships manned by the whomever agrees to the lowest wage. This while ignoring the alternative fuels various vessels are switching to.

        You probably have several products in your home delivered by a fleet of nuclear powered ships. Currently, the only tech capable of solving our energy needs is nuclear. And the new reactors are safer than the ones that come to mind with melt downs.

          Not by choice though.
          I only buy local, from Europe where I live, or used.

          Currently, the only tech capable of solving our energy needs is nuclear.

          Currently, the only tech capable of solving our energy needs is using less energy.

          And the new reactors are safer than the ones that come to mind with melt downs.

          And container ships aren’t known for being in line with current safety standards in anything.
          They’re operated out of whatever island has the lowest taxes and least regulations, built by the lowest bidder and often crewed by people who don’t share a commmon language.
