    For some Christians, a piece of toast that looks like a face means the second coming. Just like any cult, there’s plenty of crazy ideas sincerely held by its members.

        I read through the entire fucking thing while in a solitary cell for a couple months. It was a slog, but you can only jerk off and count cinderblocks so many times. I had realistically already broken the faith I was raised in, but actually reading the book and having time to reflect on it myself, without having someone telling me how to interpret it, is what really cemented the decision in my mind.

    These christofascist end of days assholes are trying to bring about the end of days. They believe that they can start a race war or a war between progressives and regressives or Russia and NATO to trigger it. They would kill a lot of people to bring their salvation fantasy to life.
