Detailed Army plans for a potential military parade on President Donald Trump’s birthday in June call for more than 6,600 soldiers, at least 150 vehicles, 50 helicopters, seven bands and possibly a couple thousand civilians, The Associated Press has learned.

Many countries have military parades. Not just dictatorships. France has a military parade on Bastille Day. It’s a tradition started in 1880. The Netherlands has one during Veterans Day, Mexico on Independence Day and Italy during Republic Day to name a few.

It’s also on the day that the US Army has existed for 250 years and supposedly has been in planning for two years per APNews. Not to say Trump won’t make it about himself but it’s not just his birthday.

The latter being the only reason the military is going along with this.

The first time, orange mussolini was in power he wanted a parade, so they had to create a bylaw in DC saying there would be no tanks in the streets because the pavement couldn’t take it. That is how they stopped this stupid show of self agrandization the first time.

Maybe, if this goes ahead, they can find a way to parade all the aircraft carriers and nuclear subs that terrorize the world every day.
