The equivalent to a Reddit “sub” is a Threadiverse “community” (Threadiverse or Forumverse, or maybe just Verse now?, anyway meaning the subset of the wider Fediverse, so like the latter includes Mastodon but the former is only the community-based Lemmy, Mbin, and PieFed).
The anarchy & communism instances are slrpnk.net and lemmy.dbzer0.com. Beware the fake communism, “tankie” triad of hexbear.net (or wherever they moved to, after they forgot to renew their own domain name), lemmygrad.ml, and lemmy.ml. Actually the former 2 should be defederated from you on Lemmy.world already, while the latter is sometimes okay, yet also batshit insane at the same time. You’ll see… and if you ever forget to follow one of their entirely unwritten rules (not kidding), you’ll be banned from every community on the entire instance, including those you’ve never even heard of.

Happy explorations!:-)
Ah, fair enough, thanks! // Yeah I looked into Hexbear briefly and it didn’t seem like my jam, but I’ll check out slrpnk and dbzer0.
