    They issued a statement, they don’t plan on a price surge sysyem but they are thinking about some kind of smart way to change offers based on availability throughout the day. So if anything it’s the inverse of price surges.

      Congratulations, you fell for the MBA speak.

      “No, guys; we’re not raising prices when it’s busier — we’re selling these suddenly more expensive lunchtime burgers at a discount while it’s slow! Totally different! What a deal!”

      Meanwhile the base price went up by 25%.

      But I guess enjoy the late night “discount”.

        I just assumed it was a misunderstanding when I read the headlines, no one in their right mind could think this price surge system is a good idea. So their statement made sense to me. I guess I was being naive on this one.

      Im imagining an app that just so happens to offer me something with 8 paties and 16 pieces of cheese just as the guy behind the bar shouts last call.

      That might work.
