I can see you made an honest mistake here, but please confirm the pronouns of someone you’re talking about when it’s from an article about a trans person.
Let’s maybe not immediately assume the person was correcting you in a transphobic way and instead was correcting you because they actually read the article and knew the correct pronouns? Unless they made another comment I missed, I don’t see any way to interpret that as transphobic besides you assuming for no reason that they thought Nex was a transwoman
