Seems like everyone has forgotten that Jews have inhabited the land now known as Israel for over 2000 years… It’s a simple fact supported by mountains of archaeological evidence yet saying so will undoubtedly incur the wrath of antisemites masquerading as antizionists

And it’s a simple fact that non-Jewish people lived in the land for over a thousand years, side-by-side with Jewish people.

And until we have that again I will continue to call Zionists colonizers for expelling indigenous people from their land.

It kind of feels like you assume I disagree with you in spirit, but I don’t.

Don’t mean to be too pedantic here, but in my opinion colonizer is semantically incorrect as it implies emigrating to distant lands. It’s imperialism, not colonialism.

The huge influx of Europeans and the tendency for those European descendants to hold positions of power and their self identification as part of “Western civilization” implies colonialism. Further, Asians and Africans that migrated to Israel are themselves settlers unless they literally came from the land between the river and the sea.

Even founding Zionists like Vladimir Jabotinsky called it colonialism.
