Yeah, that tends to happen when Tesla’s catch fire. The doors are electric and the manual releases are hidden under difficult to remove access panels in the floorboards. There have been multiple instances now where a Tesla caught fire and the passengers died before being able to escape the vehicle. There’s a decent chance the vehicle caught fire trapping the driver inside who subsequently died when the fire set off the fireworks in the trunk.

The front door manual door releases for all current Teslas are on the door, right next to the opening button.
You are right about the rear doors though - they are hard to find if you don’t already know.
