Summary
Donald Trump submitted a Supreme Court filing opposing a TikTok ban, citing his “dealmaking expertise” and promising to resolve national security concerns.
The brief advocates delaying the case to allow Trump to address it politically.
Legal experts criticized the filing for being overly self-promotional and unprecedented, with some mistaking it for satire.
Critics noted its unusual tone and highlighted the involvement of Trump’s potential solicitor general pick, D. John Sauer, in drafting the document.
The case concerns TikTok’s alleged violations of privacy laws and ties to China.
Sure, you racist cunt. See previous comments where I showed the Chinese government does not in anyway own Tiktok.
Come on, Chinese shill, we all know that any large company in China isn’t allowed to exist without some of that good old government oversight and steering. Remember when Alibaba CEO Jack Ma went “missing” for a while after not falling in line with the party policies? But I guess you’re fine with being spied on by an oppressive foreign regime. Unless of course, for you it’s not a foreign regime and you’re just working your way up the party ladder.
Right, but Tiktok isnt a Chinese company.

ByteDance Ltd. is a Chinese internet technology company headquartered in Haidian, Beijing and incorporated in the Cayman Islands.
But ByteDance, the creators of TikTok are.
Bytedance only owns 60% of Tiktok, and didn’t create it.
Which changes absolutely nothing to my argument, even if true (which I don’t think)
… Which means it’s not a Chinese company, bytedance is. It’s like saying Activision-Blizzard is a Chinese company because a large part of their shareholders are Chinese companies.
That’s now how business ownership works. Blindly repeating Trumps talking points makes you just look like a racist.

Tell me again how Trump wants to ban TikTok.
After using Twitter as a propaganda tool, he now sees another chance to influence naive voters. He’ll probably have it split up so his new best friend Elon Musk can take over.
