Nah even without extraterrestrial expansion or extermination the % will decrease. Space and resources are limited and populations that don’t adapt reproduction numbers to the limitations of the system they live in won’t remain. Like a dying lake.
I feel like that number is slowly creeping toward 0%. Maybe it’ll take a billion years, but I bet it’ll get there.

Read my comment again. I said “without any limiting factors”. What you are describing are limiting factors.
