Because right now republicans are showing restraint and not doing everything they can think of…
Surely the only reason they don’t do is because their sense of fair play…
Calling a constitutional conference would require democrats to vote for it but once the convention starts, republicans will essentially get to rewrite the constitution. Tho wouldn’t surprise me if the DNC didn’t be like “let’s try reaching across the isle”…
