    I would say is not a bad choice for Microsoft, they certainly don’t have many options right now. Also, they didn’t have the need to use much money, since they always had OEM licenses to throw at laptop/pc companies.

    They get to push Xbox easily on mobile devices while having Steam as an option. They can’t sell Xbox with a Linux device (they won’t).

      According to their statement they’ll still be offering HoloISO as an option for users. It’s possible they were just using it to leverage msft for a cheaper license.

      As long as the platform supports SteamOS (or a fork of it), I don’t care what it ships with.

        I do - because shipping with Windows means that I pay for a Windows license when buying the product.

          Yup, it hijacks the price more. Like how computers could be cheaper if they hadn’t windows

    That’s dumb, it should be the other way around. By default it should come with Linux, and you have the option of picking the Windows edition instead and pay that Microsoft tax.

    Lol i was thinking of buying one as my first handheld gaming device but seems like thehy dont want a happy customer.
