Yeah, it’s not like anyone is saying Hamas are great, but it’s a bit rich for Israel to be saying they care about Palestinian victims of Hamas when they do the same to their prisoners and are actively engaged in ethnic cleansing.

No. Whataboutism is meant to deflate an argument, saying that since someone else does something bad, this is acceptable. I am saying that both are doing it, and both are bad because of it.
