Musk announced Saturday that every day until Election Day, he would give $1 million to a randomly selected voter who signs a petition circulated by his super PAC.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said Sunday that tech mogul Elon Musk’s plan to give money to registered voters in Pennsylvania is “deeply concerning” and “it’s something that law enforcement could take a look at.”

Shapiro’s comments on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” come one day after Musk announced in Pennsylvania that every day until Election Day, he would give $1 million to a random registered voter who signs a petition circulated by his super PAC “in favor of free speech and the right to bear arms.”

The super PAC has made signing the petition a prerequisite for attending rallies headlined by Musk, and on Saturday he surprised one rally attendee by giving away the first $1 million check onstage.

It will take weeks to move forward, by then the election is over and certified by the House. Musk gets what he wants, justice isn’t done in time, and even if it gets to the courts, the courts are bought and sold to the highest bidder on lawyers.

      Laws are for poor people.

Exactly the same way he killed public transportation initiatives with his hyperloop puffery, only to never deliver anything.

Of course, still no public transportation. But hey, he sold some Teslas.

He’s a garden variety con man, on a grander stage.

I’ll sign the petition for $1 million. Since voting is confidential I definitely won’t vote for Harris anyways.

Seems like they are operating in now or never mode. Amy crime committed won’t matter if trump wins. Looks like we didn’t place any meaningful deterrent for things we learned in 2016 and 2020.

Man I wish he would just… do something? Anything? Trump is running without issue despite being a criminal. Several fascists are colluding and acting if they win or lose.

And yet the Department of Justice’s head is doing fucking nothing to these people! Does he want America to die?

Between Merrick Garland and John Roberts history is going to look back as this is a period of extreme corruption. Not since the late 1800s has America had this kind of blatant and exposed corruption, which is fitting because that’s the exact period of time Donald Trump in his ilk want to return America to.

2 months from now: so-and-so government official says we need to investigate the people investigating Musk. He also put out a crowdsource call to find a bank that could cash a billion-dollar check.

Just donated an extra $500 to the Harris campaign.

I know it’s a drop in the bucket compared to the $75 mil Musk is pumping into Trumps campaign but given I’m nowhere near a swing state I don’t know if there’s much else I can do to combat this.

Good for Josh Shapiro, because Elon Musk needs to be investigated and possibly jailed with all his money given to charity.
