Proposals had been made to change Russia's nuclear doctrine to allow for attacking any non-nuclear state that had the participation or support of a nuclear state, Putin said.
I know what they’re saying, but you seem to have misunderstood what I said. To my knowledge this is the first change in Russia’s nuclear doctrine, so there’s no “again” here. This is a significant change in nuclear use policy, and it would be sheer idiocy to dismiss it lightly.
No, it’s the opposite - they’re saying that this isn’t a change in Russia’s behaviour.

Russia’s actual nuclear policy has been “fire nukes if Putin says so” for decades. This paperwork doesn’t represent a real change.
No it hasn’t and it’s incredible that a grown ass person genuinely believes this.
It is the next step in a continued escalation of the nuclear threat.
Putin has been yapping about nuking the west if they cross whatever red line he made up that week for years.
I dare you to quote Putin as a proof. There’s simply no direct well defined threat from Putin on this topic.
There’s one from Medvedev, but he doesn’t represent Russian government and is not an official spokesperson for Russian government.
I dunno if any of these count, I just did a single Google search. Perhaps it’s western lies but there seemed to be story after story of “Putin says…”
Most media is biased and none can be trusted. In reality we are all in the dark.
